Concrete Fence Posts
Our concrete fence posts are supplied by Naylor, a name brand familiar with building contractors for their wide range of high-quality reinforced concrete lintels and padstones. Naylor brings the same level of strength, quality, and dependability to the production of fencing materials.
- Concrete fence posts are manufactured according to British Standard BS EN 12390-3:2019.
- The slotted concrete fence posts are designed to take concrete gravel boards and fence panels and deliver a smart, regular finish to a property’s boundary.
- They are available as end posts, with a single slot, line, with two slots, or as corner posts to change direction.
- Concrete fence posts are durable and are not susceptible to rot or insect attack.
30 cm high gravel boards are ideal for minor retaining applications and raising the bottom of the fence panel above any potential water issues.
Top Tip:
When setting up your fence install the posts at each end first. Use a string line to make sure the posts in between line up properly. Leave a little tolerance when setting out to make sure the fence panels are not too tight a fit!
Wooden Fence Posts
What’s your aesthetic? If you like green, or brown, then the selection of wooden fence posts at Wade will match what you need. Our pressure-treated posts are treated with Tanalith-E, an eco-friendly formula that bonds deep within the structure of the wood to give it outstanding resilience.
- All the timber fence post products supplied by Wade are FSC-certified from sustainable sources.
- Our range of fittings means you can use spikes or shoes, whether your fence is set on soft ground or concrete pavers.
- Wooden fence posts can also be set into the ground using our fast-setting ready mixed concrete.
- Wooden fence posts are available in 75mm x 75mm, or 100mm x 100mm.
Choose wooden fence posts when your boundary covers sloping ground, or the fence line is irregular, as they are more versatile (and perhaps forgiving) than concrete.
Top Tip:
When calculating the linear meterage of a fence line, what’s the difference between a standard seven-panel fence built with 75mm posts, and one built with 100mm posts? The answer is a massive 200mm!
